6 DAYS TANZANIA GROUP JOINING SAFARI - 6 days

Day 1: Arrival
You will arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, where a driver will meet you and take you to your hotel in Arusha. This day is dedicated to resting after your flight and preparing for your safari adventure. In the evening, you will meet your safari group and your guide, who will introduce themselves and give a full briefing about the trip. The briefing includes what to expect on the safari, safety guidelines, what to pack, and the schedule for the coming days. This time also allows you to ask any questions you might have, so you feel comfortable and ready. Enjoy dinner at the hotel and get a good night's rest before your exciting journey begins.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast, you will leave Arusha and drive approximately two to three hours to Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for its huge elephant herds and majestic baobab trees, some of which are over a thousand years old. The park also has many lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, and over 550 bird species, making it a paradise for wildlife and bird lovers. On arrival, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive, which means you will explore the park in the late afternoon when many animals are more active and the light is perfect for photography. Your experienced guide will help you spot animals and explain their behavior and the ecosystem. After the game drive, you will head to a campsite inside or near the park. The campsite will have tents set up with comfortable beds and mattresses. Dinner is served around a campfire or in a communal dining area, where you can share your first wildlife sightings with your fellow travelers. The sounds of the African wilderness at night will make for a memorable first night under the stars.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara National Park
Wake up early for a morning game drive in Tarangire. Early mornings are one of the best times to see predators like lions and leopards hunting or moving around, as well as elephants and other herbivores drinking water. After a rewarding game drive, return to camp for breakfast, then pack your gear and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is famous for its scenic beauty, alkaline lake attracting thousands of flamingos, and the unique behavior of lions that climb trees to rest in the branches a rare sight in the animal world. On arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park, spotting hippos wallowing in the water, baboons leaping through the trees, giraffes browsing the acacia branches, and many colorful birds. After the game drive, arrive at the campsite near Lake Manyara, where you will set up or find your tent ready for you. Relax and enjoy dinner, reflecting on the diverse wildlife you have already seen.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Lake Manyara to catch more wildlife in action and explore different parts of the park. After breakfast and packing up, you will drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro is famous for its large volcanic caldera, known as the Ngorongoro Crater. This massive crater is a natural enclosure home to an incredible variety and number of animals, including lions, elephants, buffalos, zebras, and the endangered black rhinoceros. In the afternoon, descend into the crater for an unforgettable game drive. The crater floor is lush and teeming with wildlife, and the chance to see the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo) here is very high. Later, you will drive back up to the crater rim to your campsite where dinner will be waiting. The high altitude means the evenings can be cool, so you’ll appreciate the warm campfire and hearty meal.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, leave Ngorongoro and head toward the Serengeti National Park, the vast and legendary wilderness famous for its incredible wildlife numbers and the annual migration of wildebeests and zebras (depending on the season). On the way, you will stop at Olduvai Gorge, a key archaeological site where some of the earliest human fossils have been discovered. Your guide will share fascinating stories about human origins and the significance of this site. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive, exploring the endless plains and spotting animals such as lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of herbivores. The Serengeti’s wide-open spaces and huge variety of animals make every moment exciting and full of discovery. Return to camp for your last night under the stars with delicious dinner and stories from the day’s adventures.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park to Arusha
Your final day begins with an early morning game drive to catch the wildlife during the cool morning hours when animals are most active. This is a perfect chance to see predators hunting or animals moving between grazing areas. After the morning drive, return to camp for breakfast, pack your gear, and start the journey back to Arusha. On the way, you will stop for lunch at a local restaurant or picnic spot. You will be dropped off at your hotel or another agreed location in the early afternoon, concluding your unforgettable Tanzanian safari experience.
