Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
With an early morning departure from Arusha, heading to Tarangire National Park renowned for its massive herds of elephants and majestic baobab trees. After a scenic drive, you’ll enjoy a full day of game viewing, with opportunities to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of birdlife. A picnic lunch is served inside the park, followed by an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you’ll travel through the beautiful highlands on route to the world-Famous Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy glimpses of Maasai villages and panoramic landscapes. Upon entering the Serengeti, a picnic lunch is served, followed by your first game drive in the park’s central region, known for its predator rich plains and resident wildlife. As the sun sets, arrive at your lodge or tented camp for dinner and a night under the African sky.
Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Begins with an optional early morning game drive in Serengeti to catch wildlife at its most active, followed by breakfast. You’ll then continue your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with an optional visit to a local Maasai village along the way. After a relaxed drive, arrive at your lodge on the crater rim in the late afternoon, where you can unwind while enjoying stunning views of the Ngorongoro Crater below.
Day 4: From Ngorongoro back to Arusha
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. The crater offers some of the best chances to see all of the Big Five in one place, along with hyenas, hippos, and a variety of antelope species. After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, begin your drive back to Arusha in the afternoon, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your incredible Tanzanian safari.
