Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
Your safari adventure begins with a drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park. Along the way, enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views of the rolling hills and forests. Lake Manyara is a special park known for its tree-climbing. You’ll also see large flocks of bright pink flamingos that gather on the lake’s shore, making a stunning picture. During your game drive, keep an eye out for elephants bathing in the water, graceful giraffes browsing treetops, and large hippos wallowing near the lake. After a day full of wildlife and breathtaking scenery, you’ll check into your comfortable lodge or tented camp. Enjoy a delicious dinner and relax, preparing for the exciting days ahead.

Day 2: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Highlands
After breakfast, you’ll leave Lake Manyara and head toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Your journey takes you through the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands, where the landscape changes to wide-open plains and volcanic hills. You’ll stop for a picnic lunch surrounded by peaceful nature the perfect way to enjoy the calm before the next adventure. When you arrive at Serengeti, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife parks, you’ll go on an afternoon game drive. Here, the endless grassy plains stretch as far as the eye can see, home to lions lazing in the sun, wildebeests grazing, and cheetahs sprinting across the savannah. Watch the sun set over the horizon, painting the sky with orange and pink colors. Then, settle in for the night at your lodge or luxury tented camp, listening to the sounds of the wild as you fall asleep.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Wake up early for a full day of wildlife adventure in the Serengeti. Early morning is the best time to see animals hunting and moving around. Your guide will take you to the best spots to watch lions stalking their prey, leopards resting in the trees, and elephants moving in herds. Keep your camera ready, enjoy a picnic lunch out in the open, surrounded by tall acacia trees and wide-open skies. In the afternoon, continue exploring this incredible park. If you are visiting during the migration season, you might witness thousands of wildebeests and zebras moving together, one of the most amazing natural events on Earth. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and a restful night under the starry African sky.

Day 4: Explore Northern Serengeti and Mara River
Today, you will travel north to explore a more remote and wild area of Serengeti. The northern Serengeti offers dramatic landscapes with rolling hills and scattered woodlands. A highlight is the Mara River, famous for the dangerous and exciting wildebeest river crossings. Watch as huge herds bravely swim across the crocodile-infested waters a thrilling sight that shows the power of nature. You’ll also see massive crocodiles resting on the riverbanks and many other animals coming to drink. Enjoy a picnic lunch in this beautiful wilderness. Spend the night at a lodge or camp in northern Serengeti, where you can relax and soak in the peaceful sounds of the wild night.

Day 5: Return to Central Serengeti for More Wildlife Viewing
After breakfast, travel back toward central Serengeti. Along the way, continue to spot a variety of animals, including prides of lions, stealthy leopards, herds of elephants, and more. The central Serengeti is one of the best places to watch big cats in action. Your guide will help you spot interesting predator-prey interactions, such as a lion stalking a zebra or a leopard hiding in the grass. Stop for a picnic lunch outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. In the evening, arrive at your lodge for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay in the heart of Serengeti.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Start the day with a final morning game drive in Serengeti, taking in any last chances to see wildlife. Then travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way, stop at Olduvai Gorge, a famous archaeological site known as the cradle of humankind where some of the oldest human fossils were found. Learn about early human history and how life began in this area. Continue your journey to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, a huge volcanic caldera that holds one of Africa’s most dense wildlife populations. From the crater rim, enjoy panoramic views of the caldera floor below, where thousands of animals - roam. Watch Maasai herders as they guide their cattle across the plains in traditional dress, a beautiful cultural sight. Spend the night at a lodge on the crater’s edge, relaxing with spectacular views.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive and Return to Arusha
Your last day begins early with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. This natural arena is one of the best places to see the Big Five lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards all in one place. You will also see large groups of pink flamingos in the crater’s lake, and hippos lounging in the water. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool while watching these amazing animals up close. After your game drive, climb back out of the crater and travel back to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon.
