Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park - Karatu
Your adventure starts after breakfast in Arusha, where your safari guide will meet you and give a short briefing before you drive to Tarangire National Park. The drive takes about 2 - 3 hours. Once inside the park, you'll begin your first game drive. Tarangire is known for its huge elephant herds, giant baobab trees, and open savannahs. You’ll see animals like giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, and many kinds of antelope. The Tarangire River is a popular spot where many animals gather, especially during the dry season. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at a safe, scenic spot in the park. After more wildlife viewing in the afternoon, you’ll drive to Karatu, a peaceful town near Ngorongoro, for dinner and overnight at a mid-range lodge.
• Meals: Lunch, Dinner
• Overnight: Mid-range lodge in Karatu

Day 2: Karatu to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you’ll leave Karatu and drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands, passing Maasai villages and stunning landscapes along the way. You’ll enter Serengeti National Park, where you’ll start seeing wildlife even before reaching the heart of the park. The Serengeti is one of the best places in the world to see big cats, like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as large groups of zebras, wildebeest, elephants, and many other animals. After a picnic lunch on the plains, you’ll continue your game drive as you explore the endless savannah. In the evening, head to your lodge or tented camp inside Serengeti, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and fall asleep to the sounds of the wild.
• Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
• Overnight: Tented camp or lodge in Serengeti

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Today is a full day to explore the Serengeti. You’ll go on morning and afternoon game drives to see more wildlife and cover different areas of the park. Early mornings are great for spotting predators before they rest in the shade. Depending on the season, you might witness part of the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras move in search of fresh grass. You’ll also see many other animals like buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, ostriches, and different types of birds. Your guide will help you track animals and take you to the best viewing spots. Between drives, you’ll relax at the lodge or enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. In the evening, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and rest.
• Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
• Overnight: Tented camp or lodge in Serengeti

Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu
After an early breakfast, you’ll enjoy a final morning game drive as you leave the Serengeti and head back toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You’ll reach the crater rim by midday and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a giant volcanic caldera and one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five in one day. The crater has grasslands, forests, and a lake, all inside the steep crater walls, creating a home for over 25,000 animals. You’ll have a picnic lunch inside the crater and continue your game drive in the afternoon. After exploring the crater floor, you’ll drive back to Karatu for your final overnight stay.
• Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha / Airport
After breakfast, you’ll check out and drive to Lake Manyara National Park a small but beautiful park at the base of the Great Rift Valley. The park is home to many different animals including tree-climbing lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, baboons, and large flocks of flamingos and other water birds near the lake. The landscapes here are very different from the other parks, with underground water forests, open plains, and hot springs. You’ll enjoy a final game drive and a picnic lunch before driving back to Arusha or to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your evening flight. On the way, you can stop at curio shops to buy souvenirs like local crafts and handmade gifts.
