Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha/Moshi to Tarangire National Park
On the first day, you will be picked up early in the morning from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi, where you will meet the other people in your group and your guide. After a short briefing, you will travel by 4x4 vehicle to Tarangire National Park, which is famous for its large groups of elephants and giant baobab trees. When you arrive, you will start your first game drive. This means you will drive slowly around the park, looking out for animals like lions, zebras, giraffes, and many birds. Your guide will stop to explain what you see and answer your questions. In the afternoon, you will head to the campsite, where you will find your tent ready or help set it up. Dinner will be served at the camp, usually around a fire or in a dining tent. It’s a great chance to relax, share stories with your group, and enjoy the sounds of nature at night.
• Accommodation: Camping tents at the campsite inside or near Tarangire National Park.
• Meals: Lunch and dinner provided on the day, with drinks like tea or coffee included during meals.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park to Arusha/Moshi
On the second day, you will wake up early to go on a morning game drive. Animals are often more active during the cooler early hours, so this is the best time to see them hunting, eating, or moving around. After a few hours of exploring and taking pictures, you will return to the camp for breakfast. Then, you will pack up and start your trip back to Arusha or Moshi. On the way, there will be a stop for lunch at a local restaurant or picnic spot. The safari ends in the early afternoon, and you will be dropped off at your hotel or another agreed place.
• Accommodation: None (camping ends on day 2, no overnight stay).
• Meals: Breakfast and lunch provided.
