3 DAYS TANZANIA MID-RANGE SAFARI - 2 days

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park - Karatu
Your guide will pick you up in Arusha around 7:00 AM. After a short safari briefing, you’ll head to Tarangire National Park for your first game drive. Famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Home to lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and over 500 bird species. The Tarangire River runs through the park, attracting animals all year round You’ll stop for a picnic lunch inside the park and continue your game drive in the afternoon, you’ll drive to the town of Karatu, located near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 2: Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu
After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive, which is known as Africa’s Eden and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. The world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera, home to around 25,000 animals, including all of the Big Five - lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) the unique chance to spot a black rhino in the wild, scenery with forests, lakes, and open grasslands. In afternoon you’ll have a packed lunch at the Hippo Pool Picnic Site, where you can relax and watch hippos in their natural pool. After your game drive, you’ll return to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and a second overnight stay.

Day 3: Karatu to Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha / Airport
After breakfast, you’ll check out and head to Lake Manyara National Park, located at the base of the Great Rift Valley. In Lake Manyara you will able to see a small but stunning park with diverse landscapes: lake, forest, and savannah and famous for its tree-climbing lions, large groups of baboons, monkeys, elephants, hippos, and giraffes, flamingos and other water birds along the lake shore. Hot springs and underground water forests. After your morning game drive and picnic lunch, you’ll drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, with optional stops at local curio shops for souvenirs.
