4 Days Katavi safari - 4 days

Day 1: Kigoma to Katavi
Meet at the airport or hotel and drive from kigoma at 07:00hr to katavi National Park. It takes 5 hrs drive to arrive at the park. You will have lunch and then continue for afternoon games drives. You will spend a night within the park, check in at Katavi National Park Bandas for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 and 3: Katavi National Park

You will have two full day game drives in Katavi National Park with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight at Katavi National Park Bandas.

Katavi Plains National Park was establishing as a Reserve in 1951 and given National Park status in 1974 by the government. The Park is one of the upcoming tourist attractions in Tanzania as it is an unspoiled wild park with unique attractions. Because of its remote location it receives few visitors and it’s the best for those tourists who love peace. Katavi is excellent for bird-watchers as it has over 400 species. You are also likely to see leopards, elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras and buffalos.

Day 4: Katavi to Kigoma
After breakfast 8:30, with a packed lunch you will drive back to kigoma. It takes 5-6hrs driving, your driver will drop you to your hotel or Airport.
