Tour Itinerary
Day 1. Kigoma – Mahale Mountains National Park
Early in the morning at 7:00 you will be picked up from the hotel in kigoma and drive the car half way up to Mgambo Village and take the boat to Mahale Mountains National Park and arrive during the evening time and get the meal. Have some rest to gain the power for chimpanzee trekking the next day. Dinner and overnight at Mango Bandas
Day 2. Mahale, Mountains
You will get breakfasts. at 08:00, and 08h30 go for Chimpanzee trekking in the forest. The hikes take you to the chimp’s habitation areas are accessible and not strenuous, although being in good physical condition will ease the strain of walking through the jungle! Up close, observing the endangered primates is an once-in-a-lifetime experience. Meals and overnight at Mango Bandas
Day 3. Mahale – Kigoma
Breakfast 07h00, After breakfast chimps trekking up to 11h00 back to the camp, get hot lunch after lunch, followed by boat transfer back to Mgambo village. Pick up on arrival and drive back to Kigoma town.
