Uganda Gorilla, Wildlife & Cultural Safari - 10 days

Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls

Depart Kampala or Entebbe early in the morning and travel north towards Murchison Falls National Park. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience. Continue to Murchison Falls and arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Murchison Falls – Morning Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise

Wake up early for a game drive through Murchison Falls National Park. Search for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, antelopes and other wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile towards the base of Murchison Falls.

Day 3: Murchison Falls – Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls and travel south towards Kibale Forest. Enjoy the beautiful countryside and stop for lunch along the way. Continue to your lodge near Kibale and relax.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking – Kibale Forest

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for briefing before beginning your chimpanzee tracking adventure. Explore Kibale's rainforest with experienced guides while searching for chimpanzees and other primates. Spend the afternoon relaxing at your lodge or enjoying an optional community experience.

Day 5: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, drive towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy scenic views of crater lakes and the surrounding countryside. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive through the park.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth – Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Cruise

Begin with an early morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park. Return for breakfast and relaxation before lunch. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, offering excellent opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants and numerous water birds.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, travel south towards Bwindi. Enjoy spectacular views of southwestern Uganda, including rolling hills, forests and local communities. Arrive at your lodge in the evening and prepare for the following day's gorilla trek.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for briefing. Enter the ancient rainforest with your ranger guides and search for your assigned gorilla family. Once you locate the gorillas, spend the permitted time observing them in their natural environment. Return to your lodge after the trek for relaxation.

Day 9: Bwindi – Cultural Experience – Lake Mburo Region

After breakfast, begin your journey towards the Lake Mburo region. Along the way, enjoy a community or cultural experience and interact with local people. Continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Lake Mburo – Kampala/Entebbe

After breakfast, enjoy a short game drive or nature experience around the Lake Mburo area, depending on your departure schedule. Continue towards Kampala or Entebbe, with a stop for lunch along the way. Arrive at your final destination in the afternoon or evening, marking the end of your Uganda adventure.
