Uganda Gorilla, Chimpanzee & Wildlife Safari - 6 days

Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe – Kibale Forest

Depart Kampala or Entebbe in the morning and travel west towards Kibale Forest National Park. Enjoy the scenic journey through Uganda's countryside and arrive at your lodge later in the day. Relax and prepare for the following day's chimpanzee tracking.

Overnight: Lodge/Camp near Kibale

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking – Kibale Forest

After breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for briefing before entering Kibale Forest. Track chimpanzees through the rainforest with an experienced ranger guide. The forest is also home to numerous other primates and bird species. After the activity, return to your lodge for relaxation.

Overnight: Lodge/Camp near Kibale

Day 3: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and crater-lake landscapes along the way. After lunch, embark on a game drive through the park, looking for elephants, buffaloes, lions, antelopes and other wildlife.

Overnight: Lodge/Camp in or near Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi

Begin the day with an early morning game drive before breakfast or after an early breakfast, depending on your lodge arrangements. Continue south towards Bwindi, passing through scenic countryside and the rolling hills of southwestern Uganda. Arrive at your lodge and prepare for the gorilla trek.

Overnight: Lodge/Camp near Bwindi

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for briefing. Enter the forest with your ranger guides and begin the search for your assigned gorilla family. Once the gorillas are located, enjoy the extraordinary experience of observing them in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge after the trek for relaxation.

Overnight: Lodge/Camp near Bwindi

Day 6: Bwindi – Kampala/Entebbe

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe. Enjoy the scenery of southwestern Uganda and stop for lunch along the way. Continue to your final destination, marking the end of your safari.
