Uganda Gorilla & Wildlife Safari - 7 days

Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Depart Kampala or Entebbe in the morning and travel west towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy the changing scenery and stop for lunch along the way. Continue into the park and enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge.

Overnight: Lodge/Camp in or near Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth – Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Cruise

Wake up early for a morning game drive through the park. Search for elephants, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kob and other wildlife. After breakfast and relaxation, enjoy lunch before taking an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth and travel south towards Bwindi. Depending on your route, enjoy a game drive through the Ishasha sector, where tree-climbing lions may be spotted resting in the branches. Continue through the scenic hills and communities of southwestern Uganda to your Bwindi lodge.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for briefing and preparation. Enter Bwindi's ancient rainforest with your ranger guides and begin searching for your assigned gorilla family. Once the gorillas are located, spend the permitted viewing time observing them in their natural environment. Return to the lodge after the trek for relaxation.

Day 5: Bwindi – Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, leave Bwindi and travel towards Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy the spectacular landscapes of southwestern Uganda along the way. Arrive in the Lake Mburo area later in the day and enjoy an afternoon game drive if time permits.

Overnight: Lodge/Camp near Lake Mburo

Day 6: Lake Mburo Wildlife Experience

Enjoy an early morning game drive or guided nature walk through Lake Mburo National Park. The park is known for zebras, impalas, elands, topi, buffaloes and numerous bird species. After lunch, enjoy a boat excursion on Lake Mburo or relax at the lodge before a final evening wildlife experience.

Day 7: Lake Mburo – Kampala/Entebbe

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Make a stop at the Equator for photographs and optional souvenir shopping before continuing to your final destination.
