Chimpanzee & Wildlife Safari Uganda - 5 days

Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe – Kibale Forest National Park

Depart Kampala or Entebbe in the morning and travel west towards Kibale Forest National Park. Enjoy scenic views of Uganda's countryside, with a stop for lunch along the way. Continue to Kibale and check into your lodge. Spend the evening relaxing in preparation for the next day's chimpanzee tracking experience.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking – Bigodi Community Experience

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your chimpanzee tracking adventure. Walk through Kibale's lush rainforest with experienced guides while searching for chimpanzees and other primates. Kibale is renowned for its exceptional primate diversity. In the afternoon, visit the Bigodi area for a community and nature experience, where you can encounter local culture, traditional activities and birdlife.

Day 3: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart Kibale for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive towards the park, with opportunities to view crater lakes and countryside along the way. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park in search of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, Uganda kob and other wildlife.

Day 4: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Wake up early for a morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park. Return for breakfast and some relaxation before lunch. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, one of Uganda's most rewarding wildlife viewing experiences. Watch hippos, crocodiles, elephants and numerous bird species along the water's edge.

Overnight: Lodge/Camp in or near Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth – Kampala/Entebbe

After breakfast, begin the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Enjoy a final scenic drive through western Uganda, stop for lunch and continue to your final destination.
