4 days 3 nights drive in Nyerere NP - 4 days

Day 1: Arrival and Boat Safari on the Rufiji River

Upon arrival, a professional safari guide will meet you at the airport or your hotel. You will then begin a scenic 4-hour drive to Mloka Village in a comfortable safari vehicle stocked with snacks and soft drinks to make the journey pleasant.

You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a 2-hour boat safari on the Rufiji River, where you will have the opportunity to observe hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife along the riverbanks. After the boat safari, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the lodge for a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park. A packed lunch will be provided, allowing you to maximize your time in the wilderness.
Expect to encounter elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, and many other wildlife species as you explore the diverse landscapes of the park.

You will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive via Beho Beho Hot Springs

On this day, you will embark on another full-day game drive, this time including a visit to the beautiful Beho Beho Hot Springs, one of the park’s natural highlights.
Lunch will be served inside the park at a scenic picnic spot.
After a day of wildlife viewing and exploration, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and another overnight stay.

Day 4: Walking Safari and Departure

Before your departure, you will experience an exciting walking safari led by a native bushman inside Nyerere National Park. This guided walk allows you to learn about animal tracks, traditional survival skills, and the smaller details of the ecosystem that are often missed during a vehicle-based safari.

After the walking safari, you will return to the lodge to prepare for your transfer back to the airport or your next destination.
