The highlight of tour will be visits to Simtokha Dzong within the tiny capital township of Thimpu and the Taktsang Monastery that clings to a sheer 3,000 foot rock face cliffs. Festival (Tscechus) is held in Bhutan throughout the year at different locations. These festivals are celebration of faith, legends, myths and history of Bhutanese in ancients rituals of colorful dance and music. Day 01: Kathmandu/Lhasa (By Flight)
Morning Flight about an hour over the panoramic Himalayan Ranges to the capital of Tibet. "Lhasa”. Lhasa at an altitude of 3,650 Mt, is situated on the north bank of Kyichu River. Lhasa in Tibetan means "Place of the Gods".
Day 02: In Lhasa:
Sightseeing of Potala Palace, and & Norbulinka. Potala Palace, this legendary palace built atop a single hill is synonymous with Tibet by the first foremost king Songtsen Gompa. Norbulingka meaning 'Treasure Park' covers an area of around 360000 sq. m. and is considered to be the biggest man made garden in Tibet.
Day 03: In Lhasa:
Sightseeing of Sera Monastery, Jokhang Monastery, Barkhor Market. Sera setting are one of Lhasa's prettiest monasteries. Jokhang Temple, situated in the heart of Old Lhasa, it houses Tibet's most precious religious relic.
Day 04: In Lhasa:
Visit Tibetan Medical Institute. Afternoon free or other activities on your own.
Day 05: Lhasa/Kathmandu (By Flight)
