The new concept of Home Stay in Nepal Travel gives us an opportunity to experience a stay in an unspoiled village living as a family member. This gives an opportunity to observe the real Nepalese culture and tradition from the closest quarter and intermingle with the locals. Besides, any expenses made at that level directly contribute to the welfare of the local community, hence giving the visitors a sense of satisfaction. Sirubari village is a totally unspoiled Gurung settlement set in the hiss at 1700m above sea level. The village is at a distance of short drive and thereafter three hours walk, from Pokhara, Nepal’s second most popular tourist destination nestled beneath the snow-crested Annapurna Massif at an altitude of 820m/2706ft elevation, 200 km west of Kathmandu. We will be welcomed into the community and invited to stay in the home of one of the villagers. The accommodation is simple but comfortable with good bedding as well as clean toilet facilities. The food is delicious and will be eating meals as one of the family. Each night there will be entertainment provided by the community, one evening this will be in the form of traditional Gurung and Nepali dancing and singing. You can join in if you want. The living culture and tradition of Gurungs blended with their rich hospitality make an unforgettable experience for anyone who visits Sirubari.

Day 1- Arrival KATHMANDU (1300m/4265ft)
Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore this historic and vibrant city. Meals: NO

Day 2- KATHMANDU
After breakfast we depart the hotel for a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, the “city of glory.” We visit Durbar (Palace) Square, the epicenter of religious and cultural life, an area filled with old temples and historical significance with old glorious Newari architecture. Some of the sights include Kal Bhairav, Hanuman Dhoka, Taleju Temple, Kasthamandap and Kumari Ghar; home to the Living Goddess. Afterwards we visit Swoyambhunath Stupa, said to be one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in the world, which is majestically set high on a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley. We proceed towards Pashupatinath Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This massive temple complex sits alongside the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Only Hindus are allowed to enter the courtyard of the temple, whereas tourists can see the temple from the eastern side of the Bagmati River. Later we visit Boudhanath, a Buddhist Stupa said to be one of the largest in the world. This massive structure stands tall with four pairs of eyes each facing the four cardinal directions, watching for righteous behavior of mankind and for human prosperity. Day 3 – Drive to POKHARA (884m/2900ft)
After morning breakfast in the hotel, the tour starts with the scenic view of beautiful hills, countryside lifestyle driving along the Trishuli River. Meals: Breakfast

Day 4- POKHARA
Early at dawn we hike up to Sarangkot viewpoint to witness nature’s ethereal lightshow as the sun rises over the Annapurna range turning its peaks from white to gold. After breakfast we go to see the deep, narrow gorge of roaring Seti River from where we drive to Devi’s Falls and further to Gupteswar Cave and the Bat Cave. In the evening we go on a leisurely walk on the lakeside and rowing on the sparkling waters of Phewa Lake. Meals: Breakfast

Day 5 – Drive to ARJUNCHAUPARI & Trek to SIRUBARI
After breakfast we drive to Arjunchaupari from where we start trek to Sirubari village. We meet the family and watch local cultural programs in the evening. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6 – Explore SIRUBARI
On this day we explore the village and its surroundings. Hike through the neighboring villages observing their daily lifestyle and enjoy the cultural programs. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 7 – Climb DAHARE HILL
We climb this hill for the views of the mountains and village scenery. Spend our last evening with the family and probably this would be one of the rarest experiences in your life. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 8 – Back to ARJUNCHAUPARI & drive to POKHARA
We walk back to Arjunchaupari and drive to Pokhara. Fly back to Kathmandu. Meals: Breakfast

Day 9- Fly Back to Kathmandu
After Breakfast, we will transfer to airport to take a flight to Kathmandu. Once we reach at Kathamndu airport , there will be a driver to collect us and will be dropped at Hotel in Thamel; Meals: Breakfast.
