Kathmandu Durbar Square:
Kathmandu Durbar Square is a landmark historic attraction by ancient Newari architecture. The high temples, popular shrines and the old royal palace located in the heart of the capital city Kathmandu or simply known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar square. The name Hanuman Dhoka Durbar square came from the statue of Hanuman (the monkey devotee of Lord Ram). Built by King Pratap Malla in 1672 A.D. Four storeyed home King Prithvi Narayan Shah used to work in 1770, is Basantapur Durbar(palace).

Besides these durbars (royal palaces), the quadrangle surrounds the squares, reviling courtyards and temples. Kathmandu durbar square is situated at the core of the antiquated city in Kathmandu. It surrounds both Hindu and Buddhist sanctuary in front of the old Royal Palace. Previously palaces were held by the Malla and Shah Kings who ruled over the city. The major exciting things to see here are “Kumari (The Living Goddess) Ghar”, “Kasthamandap” Maru Ganesh, Mahadev Temple. Furthermore, Shiva Parvati Temple, Bhagwati Temple, Old castle, Saraswoti sanctuary, Krishna Octangular Temple, Big drums, Kal Bhairav, Jagannath Temple, and Taleju Temple and so on.

Patan Durbar Square :
Lalitpur is the third-largest city of Nepal after Kathmandu and Pokhara. One of the most enchanting of Newari architecture and one of Nepal’s most visually impressive public spaces of religious monuments in Nepal is a beautiful square filled with palaces, temples, shrines, and sculptures. Visit ancient temples, spot magnificent artwork, watch pilgrims lay offerings at shrines and be part of colorful festivals. The Major attraction of Patan Durbar Square is Patan Museum, Golden Window, Mahaboudha Temple and so on. It is of great religious importance to both Buddhists and Hindus.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square :
Bhaktapur offers you the best chance to observe the culture of Nepal, as well as the traditional Of Nepal. The ancient city Bhaktapur lies in the Eastern part of Kathmandu valley. Locals also call this place as Bhadgaon or Khwopa, Bhaktapur. A museum of medieval art and architecture with many examples of sculpture, woodcarving and colossal pagoda temples consecrated to different gods and goddesses. The abode of traditional Nepali culture, custom and unique arts of wooden and potteries. The main attractive monuments are Nyatapola Temple, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, Peacock Window, Golden Gate and fifty-five windowed palace of Bhaktapur Durbar Square and the large group of Newari people with their signifies medieval age culture and tradition of this old city.
