North Ethiopia and Harar Tour - 11 days

Day 1.Arrive Addis Ababa Bole International Airport and depending on arrival time start a city tour.
You'll start your Ethiopian adventure with a tour of the nation's capital. Your Addis Ababa tour will include a visit to the National Museum , Entoto Park, Trinity Church and Merkato -biggest African open market. O/n Addis
Day 2. Fly to Mekelle city ,drive to hawzen
Up on arrival in Mekelle Alula ABA Nega air port you will be escourted by our guide then drive to gheralta churches to see the most impresive churches , Abraha We Atsibeha and Abune Yemata churches . O/n Hawzen

Day 3.Visit Gheralta mountains - Axum
After breakfast , hike to the most magnifiecent churches of Mariam Korkor and Daniel Korkor then back to Hawzen town and continue to Adigrat for a lunch stop. Afternoon, drive to Axum through the high mountains 3000m high accompanied with stunning landscapes and view on the way we stop at Yeha to see the great Temple Yeha . Finaly, drive 55km to Axum for overnight via the Adwa Mountains .

Day4. Axum City Tour
After breakfast , you start your tour with Obelisks , underground tombs , Archeological museum , swimming pool of Queen of Sheba , Ezana inscription , and the royal tombs of King Kaleb and G/meskel.
Afternoon, continue your city tour to west of Axum to see the palace of Queen of Sheba , Judit stelea field and the S. Merry Zion church and house of Ark of Covenant.

Day5. Fly to Lalibela and visit the churches
To day you will explore the wonderland and world heritage site of laibela and the incredible rock churches of lalibela .

Day6. Fly to Gondar
After you check in your hotel and eat your lunch you will visit the African Camelot 17th c dynasty and the enclosure palaces , Debre Birhan Silassie church and the swimming pool of King Fasiledes . O/ n Gondar

Day 7.Day trip to Simien Mountains national Park
After breakfast , drive to Debark town 105 km to the gate way of simien montain trekking paradise . When you get there you will hike 2 hour or above to see the magnificent view , nature and wildlife activities. The drive back to Gondar late afternoon in between you will have lunch while you are hiking in the mountain. O/n Gondar
Day8. Drive to Bahirdar
To day you will drive 180 km which actually takes 4 hours via the amazing mountains and plateaus of the Amhara region. You will be in Bahirdar by lunch time then you take your lunch and relax and continue your city tour in the afternoon to see the market , view points and walk around the city .

Day9. Visit Lake Tana and Blue Naile falls
After break fast , take a boat trip to the most beautiful islands to see the 14th 15th c monasteries, birds ,mammals and life of the people who are living there .
Afternoon , drive 35 km south of the city to see the Blue Nile falls and naure of the areas .

Day 10. Fly to Addis - Harar
Fly from Addis Ababa to Diredawa, meet my representatives will wait you at the Airport with a sign of your name on it. Drive to Harar check-in to your Hotel. After resting, go out for a city tour of Harar.
On the Harar city tour you will walk in the narrow alleyways of city paths passing through its colorful house and visit the Sheriff Museum (former Ras Teferi Honeymoon house), Rimbaud House, and Harari National Cultural Center. Visit Harari’s colorful house and local market.
One of the Best Experiences of Harar is to see the hyena man. He is a man who Tames the wild Hyena. He feeds Meat to the wild hyenas every night. Sometimes by holding meat in his mouth and a Hyena comes to grab and also you will see the black kyte bird feeding , tomb of Amir nur mujahid

Day11. Harar - Dire Dawa - Addis
Morning Drive from Harar to Babile Camel Market and Valley of Marvels. Babile is the largest Camel Market in the region . It happens every Monday and Thursday.

Somali and Oromo farmers will walk to Babile to sell their Camels, Goats, and cattle. We will also drive further to the Valley of Marvels. It has wonderful landscapes, famous for its balancing rock formations. It is amazing to see how a big stone balances and stays on the tip of a single stone.
If It is not happen to be on a Market Day and not worth visiting Babile On your way back to Dire Dawa you will visit Koremi. Koremi is a village older than Harar itself. Its houses are built of stone in a very old style that may show the ancient architecture of the area.
The People is a Koremi plant, a mild Narcotic plant called Qat and coffee. Drive back to Diredawa airport to fly back to Addis.
